I am the Global Centre of Excellence Lead for Cost Management at Mace Consult, with 28 years of international experience in cost consultancy. Based in the Middle East for over 20 years, I have built a career delivering strategic cost and commercial leadership across some of the region’s most complex and high-profile developments in the built environment and infrastructure. Before joining Mace in 2021, I spent 16 years with AECOM (and formerly Davis Langdon). I began as a Partner heading the Bahrain office, relocated to the UAE in 2010, and following the acquisition by AECOM, rose to Vice President for Cost & Commercial Management across the Middle East and Africa. In this role, I led large, high-performing teams delivering end-to-end cost and commercial services. Since moving to Mace, I have successfully established the firm as a trusted independent Cost Consultant in the Middle East market. My focus has been on providing clear, proactive, and client-centric advice that adds genuine value throughout the development lifecycle. I am widely regarded as a Cost Management expert, with particular specialism in Cost Planning and Estimating. My deep understanding of construction and infrastructure costs, gained across a broad range of asset classes, enables me to support clients and design teams in achieving affordable, high-quality outcomes. I also bring extensive expertise in Cost Control, Commercial Management, and Claims (with a primary focus on Quantum). As an accredited International Arbitrator with the RICS, I provide specialist insight in dispute resolution. The teams I lead are consistently recognised for delivering high-quality, independent, and proactive advice. I regularly engage with C-suite and senior stakeholders who rely on my counsel, and I have become an established authority on Tender Price Inflation in the region. I produce widely referenced Market Insight reports for the KSA and UAE markets, positioning my analysis as a trusted source of intelligence for developers, investors, and industry leaders. I am passionate about driving value through rigorous cost management and commercial excellence — helping clients make confident, informed decisions in dynamic and challenging markets.
