An integral part of the project QHSES team establishing HSES management systems and promoting a strong safety culture on board McDermott International new Derrick Lay Vessel - DLV2000 the sub-contracted Project support vessel Normand Reach.
Identifying contractual, regulatory and procedural HSES training requirements and establishment of a HSE training program for all JV personnel and their sub-contractors. Anticipating a peak workforce of 20,000+ with training required in at least 9 different languages. The position includes: - - Management of training team and training resources - Completing HSE training needs analysis - Developing strategies to address identified challenges within existing structure - Documenting requirements & designing training facilities within existing constraints - Participating in audits, establishing corrective actions and tracking to closure - Establishing internal auditing and reviewing processes - Producing project training matrix aligned with needs analysis - Establishing training records systems in line with contractual obligations - Management of Permit to Work authorized persons training and authorization cards - Integral part of JV HSES management team - Assisting JV HSES manager with HSES document preparation and review before submission. - Supporting HSES manager establishing HSE management systems - Preparation of official letters to client for HSES manager - Producing weekly toolbox materials - Production/approval of HSES training materials
