Founder of Renew Marine, providing strategic advisory to organisations navigating the offshore wind ecosystem, particularly where developers, marine operations and supply chains intersect. I help companies succeed in offshore wind by translating strong capability into credible market positioning across developers, marine operations and the wider supply chain. I have worked in offshore wind continuously since 2000 across development, construction, operations and asset management, contributing to many of the sector’s early pioneering projects. Over this period I have worked within developer organisations, consulting and advisory environments, and the marine supply chain, including CEO and Managing Director roles within vessel-owning businesses supporting offshore wind construction and operations. This experience provides a rare perspective across the offshore wind ecosystem, linking developer expectations, operational realities and supply chain capability. Through Renew Marine I now work with leadership teams, investors and supply-chain companies to help interpret how the offshore wind market is evolving and to support strategic decisions around market positioning, commercial growth and operational strategy. Alongside advisory work I remain closely engaged in the evolution of offshore marine solutions, including developments in walk-to-work vessels, offshore logistics strategies, alternative fuels and vessel electrification. Having spent my career across both offshore wind asset organisations and marine businesses, I bring a practical perspective that combines operational experience with strategic insight into how the industry continues to evolve.       Managing Director of a newco within the Windcat Work Boats group. Windcat are the market leader in the build, ownership and operations of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV's) predominantly associated with the offshore wind sector. My role and the newco will build from the current base of circa 50 CTV's to add Service Operation Vessels (SOV's) to the fleet and in particular those focused on construction and commissioning support (CSOV's). SOV technology being larger offshore vessels (80-90m) that remain within the wind farm, housing crew and technicians for circa 30 days. A key part of this expansion is linked and driven by the acquisition of WindCat Work Boats by Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB) of Belgium in late 2020, a major shipping and hydrogen infrastructure company. This combination of offshore wind maritime knowledge, large shipping knowledge and a leading position in the H2 economy and technology development and deployment sector, provides a very unique platform for the future.       Bibby Marine Services Ltd is a highly innovative company that owns and manages specialist Walk to Work (W2W) vessels, including the Bibby WaveMaster 1, and Bibby WaveMaster Horizon. These sister ships are differentiated by; 1) Technical superiority 2) Improved commercial structures inc performance contracting 3) Better all round customer services, which is at the heart of all Bibby businesses and 4) Ongoing R&D to improve the vessel's effectiveness. In 2016, under my management and with the support of the wider Bibby Marine team, Bibby Marine Services ltd successfully ordered its second Damen ASV9020, which was named Bibby WaveMaster Horizon and entered service in Sept 2019. This followed the securing of a highly innovative ten year charter for the vessel with Siemens Gamesa / ENBW and the vessel is dedicated to the HoHe See Offshore Wind Farm. My role involves designing, implementing and managing a strategy that; 1) acts as the Owner of the BWM1 and BWMH vessels 2) secures charters for the BWM1 maximizing her utilization (currently on target for almost 100% over two years) 3) continually works with existing and new clients to maximize the vessel's effectiveness towards our clients needs 4) builds further opportunities for new build vessels including in overseas locations 5) widens our scope of services and invests in R&D to better serve our clients in line with the Bibby Corporate Values. In addition to being MD of Bibby Marine Services Ltd I am also a CEO of Bibby Maritime, which owns 5 large flotels, a board member of Bibby Marine Ltd, the parent of Bibby Marine Services, Bibby Maritime and Bibby Marine Management, our in house vessel technical and crewing company.
