I currently work as an Accountant at Express. This is my first business job after graduating with my MBA in December 2022. I am excited to be working for such a great company and learning all that I can.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician required for this position • Train new employees in 4 distinct areas of the department in order to educate them on proper standards and procedures. • Manage department by educating staff and solving problems ensuring priorities are met while supervisor and manager are unavailable. • Continuation of Sterile Processing Technician 1, see below.
• Created and implemented daily, weekly, and on-call schedules to meet changing department needs to keep processes running smoothly. • Tracked inventory, ordered replacement instruments to ensure all instrument sets are fully completed. • Lead end-of-day team meetings to communicate pertinent information at shift change. • Engaged with clinical managers during hospital meetings to ensure future needs are met. • Performed competency interviews with instrument technicians to ensure compliance with hospital regulations and standards. • Chosen as a Quality Champion Council Member (MCSA) in 2018.
• Sterilize 20+ surgical instrument sets per day while ensuring patient health and safety was prioritized and return to proper locations for efficiency. • Knowledgeable on proper use, regulations and handling for steam sterilizers and sterrad hydrogen peroxide sterilizers in order to provide sterile instruments. • Guaranteed efficient surgeries by assisting Operating Room staff in locating needed sets. • Prepared for future surgeries by gathering sterile instruments and supplies for next day for more efficient surgeries.
I admitted patients into rehab through the Scott Care system and put lead II heart monitors on them. I worked with the patients in terms of completing their exercises and educating them. I inputted blood pressure, ratings of perceived exertion, various surveys and created session reports in the Scott Care system.
