Responsible for the maintaining and commissioning electrical and PLC controlled equipment and Mechanical. Key member of audit preparatory team ensuring area/equipment compliance for external regulatory agencies and implementing remedial action based on audit observations. Implemented planned and routine emergency maintenance establishing a minimum downtime of 4% across the department. Identified, implemented and managed change of PPM procedures maximising productivity and machine efficiency while reducing downtime. Primary contact and commissioning member for the new site responsible for an effective handover and establishing a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) from the contract installation team prior to project completion. Author of various maintenance procedures based on Manufacturer Operating and Maintenance manuals, in compliance with a cGMP compliance environment. Currently working on a 4 on 4 off shift rota working unsupervised and responsible for first line response to breakdown scenarios organising central engineering assistance if required. Assisted in 4 major end of year shutdowns adhering to ambitious turn-over timelines to return to production. Performed 2 additional shut downs as the senior supervising Maintenance Engineer responsible for the prioritising the work schedule over a split shift system reporting directly to the Senior Site Manager. Familiar with the operation of tray handling, inoculation, incubation and egg processing equipment in pharmaceutical specification areas. Carried out fault diagnosis to sensor level in PLC controlled equipment. Capable of trouble shooting component level problems by running diagnostic checks on ladder logic programs. Assisted in process development assisting in the installation of new equipment and implementing modifications to improve production yield and processing times. Familiar with centrifuges and large assortment of pumps including lobe , impeller and diaphragm etc.
