Since my return to the Netherlands after 10+ years abroad, I continuously invest in the process of establishing myself in Dutch society and refamiliaring myself with the Dutch way of life. During my time working and studying HRM overseas I have become well versed in working with people from different cultural backgrounds, international employment laws and best HR practices. Reading and communicating in cultural nuances has become second nature to me. Completed an Organisational Development certificate, I am a certified REACH Ecosystem Practitioner. Conducted additional Diversity & Inclusion research next to my Diversity & Inclusion university requirements and shared this with other Organisational Development professionals to support their Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
I was contracted to MSD to work on the ACTSAFE programme. ACTSAFE was established after a fatal shooting occurred in one of MSD's offices. The purpose of the programme was to train all 12,000+ employees to prevent this terrible incident from happening again. I felt strongly about adding value to this programme. I worked at MSD in a Training Advisor, Training Coordinator and LMS Specialist capacity. My duties included: - Research, analysis and mapping of a new induction programme for all (12,000+) staff, this included a stocktake, grading of existing fragmentation of induction materials to make it fit for purpose and identified improvement opportunities, provided written programme content - Identified training gaps of writing capabilities of cohorts of staff and liaised with suppliers regarding fit for purpose blended training possibilities based on adult learning principles - Storyboarded with instructional designers on H&S learning solutions adhering to H&S legislation - Proactively supported the team by brainstorming and acting as a sounding board - Administered a Totara LMS, included building learning pages, badge design and trouble shooting - Logistical planning, deployment of H&S learning solutions and managed staff training compliance in accordance with MSD regulations. Created heatmaps to effectively manage training compliance and organised regional training days for staff to complete their mandatory training - Prepared reports on training completion tracking and training trends within the organisation. Developed LMS standards, received feedback from leadership of these being of fantastic quality.
