I'm a data analyst with a passion for using data to understand the world around me and utilize data insights to determine if processes are achieving their intended goal. As a person who enjoys learning new topics, I love to go deep with subject matter experts who know the field of the data being studied and use that expertise to shape valuable insights from data analysis. In a professional setting that has led me to a position where I am taking key process indicators from differing additive manufacturing modalities and determining the health of the additive process as it builds parts. In a personal environment that has led to projects around understanding things like food and nutrition and analyzing how those impact personal fitness and health goals. The final piece of the puzzle that completes my experience is a deep interest in software engineering and creating data tools that are easy to use by non-statistical users and enable future flexibility to gather new insights when the environment changes. In any rare moments of peace and quiet, I enjoy doing anything outdoors with my 3 kids. Whether that is hiking, running, kayaking, or even vegetable gardening, I am happiest in the sunshine learning new things about the world.
Guide and review development of products across various additive manufacturing modalities to achieve a better understanding of process health, machine health, and enabling predictive maintenance. Focused on in-process monitoring products that take on-printer sensors that monitor the build and machine health and build analytics to alert customers when sensor values indicate issues with the machine or build in real time. Enabled post build analysis tools that generate post build reports and compare single builds or machines against a population with alerts for anomalous behavior. Developed Automation of processing of machine diagnostic data and visualization and failure mode analysis tools aimed at reducing turnaround time for service cases.
Guide and coach analytics teams in development of products through technical review process, help shape analytics roadmap with potential NPIs that keep us competitive, mentor analytics engineers in systems thinking and career growth, ensure quality of analytics products through standard procedures/systems in development & validation
Worked in and leading programs to develop products as a technical additive domain expert addressing statistical, machine learning and data engineering in a commercial technology development environment. Contributed to the development and deployment of machine learning, semantic analysis, and statistical methods for additive machine health monitoring and process monitoring.
Collaborated with a group of researchers on building software infrastructure to run complex mathematical simulations and assisted in the validation of the mathematical algorithms to the government customer requirements
Collaborate with a global team of developers, researchers, testers, and product managers to develop features for the GE Additive catalogue of analytics and machines. Develop and productize Additive machine software and analytics, as well as, handling the integration of those capabilities into commercial additive NPI products as they are matured through the NPI/TRL process. Help support initial customer deployments, provide ongoing advanced troubleshooting, and help define best practices and processes.
Create, develop and implement Edge applications used in the optimization of GE's industrial assets deployed on GE control systems and Edge devices. Collaborate with GE Global Research expertise and experts on GE's industrial assets from the GE businesses to design, model and implement embeded systems solutions incorporating both hardware and software.
Rotational leadership development program at GE's Global Research Center, working within at least three software and analytics labs for at least six months on projects supporting GE business problems and/or government grants, took 37 weeks of engineering courses in varied electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, manufacturing and biomedical engineering topics, was sent to Activating Your Leadership Journey course at GE's Crotonville Center, and taking a course in cultivating an idea, leading a research project and communicating it's business value to various stake holders.
