Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), currently working as a Technological Development Specialist in Bioimaging at CNPEM/LNBio. Develops and applies advanced optical microscopy and bioimaging techniques, with a focus on super-resolution microscopy and live imaging for investigating the dynamics of suborganellar structures, particularly those related to mitochondrial DNA. Has experience in advanced microscopy, 3D live-cell imaging, quantitative image analysis, experimental design, and user training in microscopy platforms. Participates in R&D projects focused on the development of innovative methodologies in cell biology and high-resolution bioimaging, including live-imaging pipelines for the spatial and dynamic analysis of mitochondrial nucleoids under different metabolic conditions. Has contributed to collaborative projects in the fields of sepsis, COVID-19, cancer, and inflammatory diseases, resulting in publications in international journals. Recipient of the FAPERJ “Nota 10 Ph.D.” award and interested in the integration of advanced bioimaging, translational research, and clinical applications. Currently pursuing a specialization in Clinical Research Coordination
