Charlotte Metro
I started my sales career at age 8 selling used golf balls. Today, I am an international executive with over 20 years of experience and over a decade spent in professional services. I am a strong leader with a customer-first mindset and results-driven attitude. On my journey to finding the professional services industry, I spent time learning and refining my sales craft at two global Fortune 500 companies in the airline and transportation industries. I also spent time working for a non-profit fundraising, maintaining, and growing budgets to $3 million annually. These roles taught me that selling is a process and connecting with people and helping them find solutions to generate incredible outcomes is my passion. My experiences have also taught me that a career in sales requires hard work, persistence, dependability, attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal presentation skills, delivery to commitments, honesty, humbleness, responsiveness and having a positive and enthusiastic attitude. These are attributes that I have applied to my work both inside and outside of organizations. My time in sales management taught me many life lessons but there are two that have stuck with me. 1). Professionalism in the sales profession is vitally important. You have the honor of being in a client facing role and you represent the company. 2). Change is the chance to learn, grow, and improve business. Embrace it! It will lead to innovation and opportunity. After over a decade spent in legal sales generating over 22 million in new business my journey continues. In my current role with Grant Thornton Advisors LLC I help organizations solve business challenges by building relationships and connecting people to opportunity making an impact for all who are involved. I welcome collaboration and helping clients, individuals, and organizations achieve their goals. If you share the same let’s connect!
