I began working for Westdale Asset Management at The Hollows Apartments (432 units) as a full time Leasing Agent. In June of 2013, I was promoted to Assistant Manager at Vista Crossing Apartments (232 units). In January of 2014, I received a lateral promotion back to The Hollows Apartments, and became the Assistant Manager to a larger workforce and community. As a Leasing Agent, I was responsible for leasing available apartments and advertising our community. I was responsible for opening/closing the office, taking phone calls, resident complaints and work orders. As an Assistant Manager, in addition to Leasing Agent duties, I was responsible for the collecting and posting of rents, invoicing and payment of vendor bills, resident credit collections, and legal actions such as eviction. As Assistant Manager, the property maintained delinquencies of 3% or less, and also helped to implement an onsite recycling program.
