Stephanie Christianto is an Indonesian pianist, organist, composer, chamber musician, and music educator with a passion for raising mental health awareness among musicians. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Piano Performance from HKU Utrechts Conservatorium, The Netherlands, and was awarded double Honours Track Program where she was given the opportunity to study both composition and pipe organ performance. Having recently earned her double Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, and Music Composition with full scholarships at Baylor University, USA, Stephanie’s achievements and competition succeses include winning prizes at Essex Indonesia Piano Competition, Alberti International Piano Competition, Nusantara Piano Competition by Ananda Sukarlan, Yamaha Piano Competition, Prinses Christina Concours Competition in The Netherlands, among others. In 2021, She was also invited to attend the prestigious Sibelius Academy Helsinki Summer Piano Academy in Finland. She has performed in prestigious venues, including Het Concertgebouw (The Royal Concertgebouw) in Amsterdam, Grote Zaal of TivoliVredenBurg in Utrecht, Fentener van Vlissingenzaal in Utrecht, and Kavelan Nevatta Concert Hall in Seinäjoki, Finland. She was competitively selected by the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) to present a research poster at the 2023 MTNA Collegiate Chapters Symposium in January 2023 at Texas Christian University, Forth Worth, USA, with a research poster titled “Engaging Color Analysis in Music Reading” and the 2024 MTNA National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia with a research poster titled “Musician Burnout is Real! Addressing Mental Health Crises Among Musicians”. She was also invited to give a session for the Waco Music Teacher Association in January 2024 as well as teaching a piano masterclass at the Indonesian Christian Church, Jakarta in Summer 2024. She is currently serving as Graduate Teaching Assistant in Music Theory and Composition at Baylor University School of Music, Texas, United States.
I served as a pianist and accompany the church service as well as church’s choir.
