responsible for technical topics regarding axles, steering Knuckles and crankshaft with truck OEMs account: • Feasibility of RFQ with production team • Design proposal and choice of material and surface treatment • Interface customer / internal departments (logistics, Quality, Engineering) • Implementation APQP procedure in OEM project
• Participation in various manufacturing projects of a truck axle production line (investment of €80 million, SOP 2021): ◦ Paint shop installation ◦ Specification study ◦ Definition of line specifications, search for subcontractors • Since May 2020, forging tools Design Department: ◦ 3D and 2D design (CREO) and material flow simulation (FORGE 3) ◦ Optimization of the material used to reduce weight ◦ Definition of design methodology ◦ Discussion of technical choices with in-house forging experts
• Transformation of Homburg into a production site, transfer of R&D activities to the group headquarters. • Refocusing of activities on processes and products within a group of three people in order to accelerate the implementation of technical solutions to increase productivity. • Continuation of product support activities with an emphasis on quality improvement
• Developement of truck crankshafts with support of CAD and FE-tools • Supervision of CAD-System and trainer • Support of german and american customers for implementation in series production: use of APQP and AMDEC-procedures.
