Assuming global responsibility for the business development and key account management of a TOP 10 Pharma company offering end to end supply chain solutions.
Purpose of Position • Act as the interface between the global account(s) and the Panalpina Sales and Operations organization within EMEA • Assume regional responsibility for the customer partnership and growth, coordinate implementation • Further development of the account(s) in line with the national / global targets and meet the objectives of growth and profitability • Support other sales groups with industry knowledge and know-how to develop vertical expertise (case studies, joint sales calls, etc) Other tasks • Build up / improve customer relationship on a national / regional (EMEA) basis together with assigned stakeholders in the different areas • Secure existing business by assuring Panalpina reliability and increasing customer satisfaction • Assume responsibility and coordination for dedicated projects, e.g. new traffic lanes, logistics projects, etc. for all phases of the project (marketing, proposal-phase, contract negotiations, project initiation and development, implementation & post-implementation) on a national /regional / global level • Hold regular QBR sessions with assigned customer(s) and report back on results to Panalpina Senior management on area and corporate level. • Develop strong business relationship on customer level and create awareness of Panalpina within the customer’s organization and vice versa • Increase industry knowledge and create awareness for the account and the customer’s industry within the Panalpina group through proper communication with relevant parties • Act as a trouble shooter for the customer within Panalpina • Assure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) utilization and accurary Within this assignment I am responsible for the Strategic Key Account Management of 5 global accounts in the healthcare industry
