I’m driven by the challenge of making complex systems more human and understandable. At the core of my work lies one question: how can we reconnect people with the food they eat? Over the past years at Rabobank, I’ve worked in different teams — from Climate Risk to Retail — always focusing on how we can make sustainable choices more tangible and scalable. I thrive in pioneering environments, where the goal is clear but the path isn’t yet defined. I enjoy gathering the right people, data, and ideas to build something that works — something others can continue to grow and improve. My ambition is to help reshape our food system, whether through strategy, innovation, or education. I believe that when people understand where their food comes from and what it takes to grow it, they make choices that are better for themselves, for farmers, and for the planet. Outside of work, I explore the world of food through cooking, fermenting, and experimenting in the kitchen. I spend days reading — both fiction and non-fiction — and I’m at my best around a live-fire grill, surrounded by good people and good conversation.

Diving deep into the (Dutch) food system, seeing and understanding all of its intricacies. With a group of 25 participants, from all over the food chain we spent time discussing, seeing and most importantly experiencing the food system as it exists. We've seen the challenges faced by farmers, producers and other parties in a small country as the Netherlands. Nevertheless, we have also seen and spoken to the people whose initiatives provide an alternative. Essential to the academy was participation in a case, ours focused on the connection between the greenhouse sector and society at large. We were able to organize a mini-citizens' council with great results and as an inspiration for the sector.
During my period at Tesla, I was in charge of the logistics behind the European Destination Charging Program. This meant implement new logistics partners and processes in order for Tesla Wall Connectors to arrive without a hassle at a Destination, which subsequently could be added to our network. My internship involved contact and management with different teams and project managers across Europe.
The International Research Projects Delft Foundation (IRPdelft) is a team consisting of selected multidisciplinary MSc students of the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). Each year we carry out challenging business projects for companies in emerging markets around the world. 2017's destination was Colombia. My team performed a project for TMF Group in Bogota. They had issues with their workforce working inefficiently. However, they did not have the visual data to back this up. WE were asked to analyze the data, creating a tool which could easily import the data and represent it in a way that was comprehensible and actionable. This we did in a group of 4, where I took a large in role in developing the application, whilst supporting the others in the strategic implementation of the application.
