Heading the group accounting & reporting team
Prepare consolidated financial reporting in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER (incl. technical consolidation on SAP SEM BCS), generate monthly internal reporting to ExCo and BoD, sub-project lead implementation of QlikSense, consult in M&A projects (carve outs, deal structure, TSA, SPA etc.), internal consulting with regard to demanding/complex accounting queries (revenue recognition, impairment tests, pension accounting, tax accounting etc.), compile purchase price allocations, prepare yearly reporting to Federal council (IPSAS), review business cases/offers, point of contact for group auditor and other supervising bodies.
Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER for a stock listed company (IBM Cognos Controller), group-wide training/consulting of accounting & reporting matters, enhancing ICS, sub-project lead SAP ERP roll-outs abroad (France, Netherlands), design & implementation transfer pricing policy, asset valuation, internal reporting to ExCo and BoD, business partner global product management.
Heterogeneous mix of roles and audit clients in different industries, in-charge of SME audits, strongly involved in group audits of listed companies (IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER), component auditor of a US company (SOX experience).
