Software Product Manager (SPM) for • UBS Quotes and Market Data Management System (currently) • Product Inventory Management System (2010 – 2019) a solution which supports product and sales managers in maintaining product offerings (financial instruments) and client advisors in efficiently searching products and documents. • Product Suitability Rule Engine (2011 – 2013) a solution based on a business rule engine to support client advisors in offering suitable products to clients. SPM responsibilities include: • Developing and implementation of IT product strategy with business stakeholders. • Liasing with business in CH, EMEA, APAC, software development teams, external providers, support organizations within the context of business cases, product requirements gathering, project implementation and maintenance. • Elaboration of application architecture in close collaboration with enterprise and software architects, i.e. event-driven architecture, micro-service and cloud architecture. • Leading IT projects to migrate solutions to Microsoft Azure Cloud • Changing of the software development process to an agile setup, supporting and deputizing scrum master, prioritization of backlog as Software Product Manager • Management and optimization of total cost of ownership including Market Data costs and defining methodologies to charge service costs to business divisions • Running public tendering processes for IT outsourcing and leading the IT stream • Contract management of service providers for IT Outsourcing, SaaS, SW Licenses, Market Data and Stock Exchange agreements.
