With a background in the Accounting and Auditing industry, where I successfully managed my own Bookkeeping practice for 12 years, I made a career transition into the dynamic field of LED lighting. In 2013, I co-founded LEDworx, an LED lighting business that quickly became one of the leading suppliers in Southern Africa. During our journey, we attracted the attention of Hyundai Corporation, leading to an exciting partnership to design and distribute lighting products in the region. As a result, I have focused my expertise on Solar Lighting and successfully implemented the Hyundai Solar Lighting range in 2022. In my current role, I am responsible for a wide range of functions, including sourcing products from China and Korea, overseeing manufacturing and testing of new products, conducting lighting designs using Dialux and Relux software, engaging in research and development, managing grow lighting systems, and overseeing aspects of the Chief Technology Officer's responsibilities. I also have a strong emphasis on computerized lighting systems and possess comprehensive knowledge of LED lighting, acquired through extensive time spent in China and Korea, sourcing the best products from verified suppliers. Through these experiences, I have built a robust network of reliable suppliers and manufacturers, fostering strong business relationships. I take great pride in the innovative lighting solutions I have developed for our clients.
