Dipl.- Ing. Dr. mont. Stephan Hasse -Studied in Germany and Austria metallurgy, materials engineering and foundry technique to take a master of engineering. -Take a doctoral degree in Austria (Dr. mont.) -Foundry engineer with experiences about 30 years in all fields of foundry practices. -Worked in different foundries in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in leading positions in the melting- moulding- and core shops. -The last 10 years in the past century I was head of pilot foundry and sand testing laboratory in the Austrian Foundry Research Institute in Austria. -During this activity I was also advisory in foundries active, especially for “trouble shooting” for scrap or rejects problems. -In the year 2003, I am founded the Foundry Technologies & Engineering GmbH (FT&E, www.fte-foundry.com) in Schaffhausen/Switzerland whose general manager I am.
