Stephan Gripp works as curator, author and project manager for private collections, exhibition institutions, galleries and artists. His professional practice is interdisciplinary. He develops exhibition formats, cultural events and guided tours. In his curatorial practice he investigates how art relates to urban and suburban spaces, architecture and design. He is particularly interested in the framework of social systems, psychological and technological structures which shape our individual and collective living conditions. Most recently, he curated the (group) exhibitions "You are just a Piece of Action", which dealt with the artistic depiction of the human body related to the dissolution of identity and gender boundaries since modernism, and "I am a crack, I want to walk through walls", which explored the manifold entanglement of psychic and constructed spaces in art since the 1960s. He is currently investigating the question of how artificial intelligence and the new technological media of virtual and augmented reality will affect pictorial practice and change its reception.

Salon Dahlmann is a privately financed exhibition institution based in Berlin's Charlottenburg district. The salon is named after the last owners of the house, Hildegard Dahlmann. The building in Marburger Straße 3 was acquired in 2010 by the Miettinen family. With this location Timo Miettinen has made a connection to the tradition of the Berlin salon culture, whose origin can be found in the environment of the Kurfürstendamm in West Berlin. The salon presents a broad cultural program with artistic and cultural formats such as exhibitions, concerts, performances, readings and talks.
