Being an addict to the digital aspects of universal to energy, I am extremely happy to announce that I joined the Access 2 Energy Institute as Managing Director. This new opportunity allows me to drive sector-beneficial projects such as: *drum*drum*drum* "Prospect" - the soon to be leading data infrastructure platform for the access to energy sector. Its great to work with such a team of highly commited and impact driven professionals, some of them I know for a long time already. After more than ten years on the commercial side of the sector it will be interesting to see how a non-for-profit organisation such as the A2EI can support the mutual target for universal energy access in areas where commercial enterprises can not be active.
As Chief Innovation Officer I am responsible for Mobisol’s general Innovation Strategy and IT Agenda. Taking lead of the Product Management, Engineering and Technical Infrastructure Team it is my main responsibility to enable the Mobisol Group to reach it’s business goals by providing the necessary products, software tools and services. Supporting the complex ground processes as well as information management and shaping are the main challenges for the IT Division of Mobisol.
