I have built and lead AstraZeneca’s Global Policy, Advocacy and Health Equity team, advancing public policies and partnerships that strengthen health systems, promote health equity, and improve early diagnosis and access to guideline‑based therapies across oncology, rare diseases, respiratory, cardiovascular, renal and metabolic conditions. I’m part of AstraZeneca’s sustainability and corporate affairs leadership teams, and my team and I have the privilege of working across the enterprise—geographies, functions, and seniority levels—to deliver tangible results that advance our mission.

Leads the global policy function and is accountable for the development and implementation of public policy strategies across therapy areas and corporate priority areas
Sets global policy strategy for early oncology pipeline, leads strategic policy initiatives at above-brand level and develops corporate policy positioning on matters related to value, access and pricing. Represents Amgen in appropriate international policy settings, develops and executes policy research plans.
Sets above-market policy priorities and develops positions on key matters related to value, access and pricing. Creates the policy strategy including policy evidence generation plan for key franchises in the region, and works in close collaboration with government affairs, advocacy, medical affairs, business franchises and country offices to ensure execution. Engages externally with above-country academic, clinical and payer/HTA bodies and represents Amgen in relevant industry associations.
Global lead for the area of Payment Policies (e.g. Pricing, Value/HTA, Procurement) in Novartis International AG, working across all Divisions (Pharma AG, Sandoz, Alcon) and geographies. Works with Novartis’ senior leadership at corporate and divisional levels on strategic matters related to valuation and pricing of medicines, leads/contributes to global reporting on related topics (e.g. Access To Medicines Index) and represents Novartis in different industry associations (PhRMA, Efpia, IFPMA) and in external policy discussions.
Leads Pricing, Patient Access Programs and Payer engagement initiatives for Novartis Oncology. Markets include: China, Russia, Turkey, Asia-Pacific region, Middle East region, North- and South Africa. Sets pricing strategy and governance, oversees execution. Develops framework and incentives for innovative access and pricing solutions aimed at accelerating and expanding patient access. Interacts with patient representatives and payer bodies at country- and above country levels. Provides trainings and supports development of capabilities at country and sub-regional levels.
