Currently lead the Product Management team for Dell Data Protection Software (SaaS and standalone) – driving the product strategy for a $500M+ business with over 8,000 customers. Responsible for the delivery of key functionality, serving both external and internal stakeholders. Previously led a product team that developed Dell Technologies Cyber Recovery software from concept to delivery in under one year. Cyber Recovery was introduced in 2018 as a new category of data recovery which is now widely adopted. Drive the division's ransomware detection strategy (including OEM and M&A activities) to augment the Cyber Recovery and data protection offerings.
Led technical & solutions marketing team for the EMC Storage & Data Protection Division delivering over 400 customer briefings, 150 marketing assets, and supporting several product launches. Team had sole responsibility for technical marketing content such as whitepapers, technical presentations, technical videos and podcasts, social media content, and event coverage across EMC primary storage and data protection. Led technical and solutions marketing for several EMC product launches including Unity, NetWorker, VMAX All Flash, and XtremIO. Designed and executed a marketing campaign targeted at CISO persona to expand our addressable market in our global accounts. Influenced key stakeholders including analysts, press, and bloggers / influencers to ensure EMC’s Isolated Recovery offering is prominently highlighted as part of the industry frameworks such as NIST.
Established and led an EMEA-based corporate systems engineering team in 2015 allowing EMC to drive joint-engineering projects for global customers. Responsible for co-development of private cloud solutions at several large customers including SAP and T-Systems. Led the design effort, proof of concept, and engineering alignment for the development of a VMware-based infrastructure as a service offering. Drove product requirements around multi-tenancy, RBAC, and performance. The SAP private cloud footprint grew to over 30,000 virtual machines and 40 storage units in three years. Primary engineering liaison with Acadia (predecessor of VCE and now PowerFlex), ensuring roadmap and GTM alignment.
Launched the Competitive Intelligence function at BBN Technologies and grew the practice to over 10 employees. Drove market and competitive intelligence programs for strategic planning and field campaigns. Assessed BBN’s different hosting offerings across security capabilities across network security and intrusion prevention.
Led cross-functional teams in U.S. and Europe to provide U.S. companies with legal and quality assurance related consulting services. ISO9000 audits delivered to 100 clients in North America.
