Sonatrach bought ExxonMobil Augusta refinery including myself and all the employees. I kept my previous role of Fired Equipment SME with the exception that I was now supporting only one refinery (Augusta)
Fired equipment (Furnace, Boiler, Flare and combustors) technologist and refinery technical focal point. Mainly supporting Augusta refinery. Being also regional Fired Equipment Network member, I supported all the EMEAP refineries as well (peer assist, experience/opinion sharing, etc.).
Process design & project development responsible for all refinery CAPEX small projects (up to 3.5 M$) from the feasibility study until FID. Follow-up engineer for the execution/detailed engineering, construction and commissioning phases
Providing technical support to the Process Technical Assistance group for Atmospheric Distillation Unit, Powerformers (Reforming/platformers), Hydrofiners, Sulfur plant and MEROX unit. Double hatting with production (process) refinery operations.
