From 1Q13 I have been appointed Director of Military&Helicopter Programs across UTAS maintaining the responsibility for Italy programs. In this position I am reporting in solid line to the General Manager of Military&Helicopter, based in UK, and in dotted line to the Managing Director of Italy sites. I was the Customer focal in charge of the Actuation & Propellers business with AgustaWestland, GE Avio, AleaniAermacchi. Specifically for AgustaWestallnd I led the Program Management team based both in Italy and UK (Claverham - Bristol)
In 2Q 2012 I was promoted to Director of Program Management and Aftermarket reporting directly to the CEO. I was in charge of Contract and Commercial, Sales and Program Management for both OEM and Aftermaket segments. Major achievement: Gold supplier award from Hamilton Sundstrand
In 2HF of 2010 in addtion to the OEM programs I got the responsibility of the Aftermarket business consisting of eirther spares and R&O sales. In this position I was managing the entire Company's order book for a total turnover of € 150 M spread over more than 80 customers. Major achievements: 95% On-time delivery sustained for 18 months, Customer MFA (Market Feedback Analysis) scoring 6 in range from 0 to 7, Sustantial reduction of repair TAT (Turn Around Time) for the major commercial contracts of helicpters, regional and buisiness segment. Due diligence to support Company's Sales process
OEM Program Management specifically oriented to improve Customer relationship and satisfaction. Structuring sales plan and development, including contract administrations and order transactions. In 2008 the Company was sold from UTC Hamilton Sundstrand to the Private equity fund Stirling Square Capital Partner. In this time frame I led the Complany to sustantially improve the Key Performance Indicators with all key strategic Customers (AgustaWestland, Alenia, Avio, Bombardier, Eurocopter, Hamilton Sundstrand, Snecma)
Managing the procurement of 65 Meur of materials and services (10% for genaral procurement, 20% for machined parts and special processes and 70% for production materials). Defining Procurement budget plan and integrating it in the financial plan. Defining strategy and objectives in synergy with Hamilton Sundstrand central procurement. Driving procurement team to develop and execute proper action plan to achieve the goal. Defining metrics to track the performance, e.g. cost saving (PPV) and on time delivery (OTD) of the supply base.
In this role I was coordinating inter-functional and inter-company teams for the techincal development of multiple projects. Master program plan, resourse and cost analysis were just one the major tasks for this role.
