I have many years of experience in the maintenance of a wide range of medical devices and laboratory equipment, functionality and safety test. I have many years of experience in laboratory practice, good knowledge of optical and electrical measurements, enhanced by a good knowledge of the Italian and European regulatory framework.
Main responsibilities and duties: - Coordination of technicians - Technical and economic evaluation, purchase, management and calibration of measuring instruments, laboratory management - Installation, testing, training and after-sales service of medical equipment. - Management of more than 800 installations throughout Italian country in private practice and hospitals, including: - Aesthetic and surgical lasers (Nd:YAG, Er:YAG, Alexandrite, Nd:YAG + KTP Q-switched and pico-second, Diode lasers, CO2) - Videodermatoscopes - Phototherapy cabin, panels, partial units (UVA, UVB) and LED phototherapy - Radiofrequency and ultrasound equipment for aesthetics, IPL - Other low-tech equipment: surgical lights for minor surgery, smoke evacuators, etc .. - Planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance of the equipment installed - Manuals and certifications check for imported medical devices - Electrical Safety checks per IEC 60601 and IEC 62353. - Good knowledge of laser measurements instruments: power/energy meter and beam profiler, OPHIR and DATARAY -Good knowledge of test equipment: electrical safety analyzer, multimeters, power supply, function and signal generators, oscilloscopes, fundamentals of GPIB for instrument control and measurement automation. - Good knowledge of Medical device regulatory framework, 93/42/CEE and 2017/745 MDR - Responsible for the company's IT infrastructure and remote assistance
