Stefan Göbel is STATKRAFT’S country manager in Germany, thereby directly leading its power generation and project development activities in the country. Those comprise more than 2,000 MW operating capacity and a pipeline of more than 2,000 MW wind and solar projects. Until November 2022 Stefan was responsible for the ramp-up of the company’s renewable business in several European markets. Between 2008 and 2018 he led STATKRAFT’s Trading & Origination activities outside the Nordics and built up its German market access and PPA business to market leadership. Stefan Göbel worked for ENRON in Frankfurt and London until 2001. He studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe. Stefan loves competitive markets, classical theatre and breakfast.
