• Replaced existing configuration management system for Bridgewater’s trade execution and systemization stack; was key engineer in enabling rolling deployments, increasing resilience and improving availability of configuration; reduced production risk by deprecating legacy system • Designed a configuration management system that utilizes Consul, Hashicorp’s distributed key-value store, and a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) reverse proxy to secure configuration access and reduce configuration sync time by 3x • Contributed to the engineering productivity team responsible for maintaining and improving the infrastructure of Bridgewater’s trade execution and systemization stack; supported several major projects for the larger team, including the improvement and systemization of our FX and Futures trading
• Extended MongoDB Atlas support for Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure by working on two high-impact projects • Optimized machine instance and disk size modifications to accelerate upgrades and reduce node downtime • Implemented full-stack solution for utilizing MongoDB encryption at rest with Microsoft Azure Key Vault, including the Key Management Interoperability Protocol proxy, backend server, public API, and front-end user interface • Acquired experience in Go, MongoDB, and React and advanced Java and debugging skills through working on these projects
• Composed comprehensive design document of layout and expected challenges of ChromeOS Bisection Service, intended to pinpoint a regression across ChromeOS versions to channel developer efforts from issue identification to resolution • Implemented a server in Java based on gRPC, an open-source remote procedure call framework • Built a user interface for the ChromeOS Performance team to improve functionality of and integrate existing bisection tools • Developed the bisection service as a wrapper to integrate existing standalone bisection tools for ChromeOS; resulted in standardization of the ChromeOS bisection process and output across the team’s tools with future company-wide scalability • Led multiple meetings with members of the ChromeOS team to optimize and tailor the internal tool to best fit their needs
• Co-authored a research paper entitled “Identification of Novel Anti-Liver Cancer Small Molecules with Better Therapeutic Index than Sorafenib via Zebrafish Drug Screening Platform” while conducting liver cancer-related research using zebrafish as subjects • Introduced breakthrough research methods to improve original experimental procedures
