Back in April 2025, alongside my role as Managing Director at BDSS, I took on an additional responsibility as a TSA Liaison Manager to support several carve‑out transactions. Since then, this role has been a steady reminder that much of what determines the success of an M&A transaction happens after the signing. The work is often unobtrusive: being available, listening carefully, helping align different perspectives, and supporting teams as they navigate uncertainty while keeping the business running. My contribution is mainly about providing structure and reliability in complex post‑closing phases — coordinating TSA governance, facilitating dialogue between seller and buyer teams, and helping ensure that issues are addressed early and pragmatically. Together with colleagues across functions and regions, I try to support transitions that allow people to focus on building what comes next. I see this very much as a service role, complementing my Managing Director responsibilities: stepping in where experience is helpful, supporting others in their roles, and contributing to calm and steady execution during a sensitive phase of change. Grateful for the trust placed in me — and for the many teams who carry these transitions forward every day.
