Stefan is currently the Leader IMEA, LIXIL International responsible for India, Middle East and Africa. Previously Leader Commercial Sales Operations at LIXIL EMENA responsible for enabling and steering the EMENA regions and countries to achieve the sales and margin targets. With his x-functional team he is defining and leading the strategic and operational growth roadmap of LIXIL EMENA sales of close to 1.8 bn USD. As member of the EMENA Executive Leadership team he is closely aligned with all sales, marketing and product development related tasks to drive and standardise execution into the sales organisation. In his function Stefan and his team are the bridge from sales to supply chain and manufacturing as well as closely linked to finance. Next to leading strategic sales projects his team is responsible to create the operations, organisational architecture and systems to ensure transparency and visibility of sales forecasting over demand planning. This leadership team and function has been newly formed within Lixil EMENA to scale-up and develop the sales organisation to the next level. Before being promoted to Leader Commercial Sales Operations, Stefan was leading and evolving for four years the project business channel at Grohe/Lixil and developed projects into an independent Business Unit Projects that was the key growth driver for LIXIL EMENA business over the past years. Today the projects is the largest business within LIXIL EMENA. Responsible for the sales of Grohe product solutions to all large-scale construction projects Stefan and his team drove the specification and execution of new-build and renovation projects such as hotels, airports, hospitals or large residential projects across Grohes global sales and marketing organisation. He reported CEO EMENA Lixil International/ Deputy CEO of Grohe, Stefan was member of the senior leadership team. During that time, he was co-founding and leading the Global Project Council a Lixil-wide team to grow x-regional hospitality groups. Before joining Grohe/Lixil he was CEO of the KWC Group a faucet manufacturer based in Switzerland with plants in Europe and Asia and previously he was President of the Tiles and Sanitary Ware Division at RAK Ceramics, a global manufacturer of premium ceramic products based in the United Arab Emirates, with 1 billion USD in annual revenue. Stefan spent nine years at Geberit an international manufacturer of sanitary technology in various international senior management functions. Before joining Geberit in 2006, Stefan was a strategy consultant at leading firms.

  • President Tiles and Sanitary Ware Division at RAK Ceramics

    Rak Ceramics is a global leader in manufacturing, marketing and distribution of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware, taps and tableware. Rak Ceramics is globally ranking as #3 tile manufacturer and is in the top-10 sanitary ware producers worldwide. A majority stake of Rak Ceramics has been acquired by the Private Equity firm Samena Capital mid-2014. Brought in as President of the two core business divisions tiles and sanitary ware to define the strategy, drive the change in the leadership team, restructure the global operations as well as execute the value creation plan for the private equity investors to drive the value creation in their acquisition. In the position as President of Tiles and Sanitary Ware Division, responsible for roughly 2/3 of total Group sales of close to 1 bn USD. Heading the core operation with more than 1000 headcounts located in the UAE headquarters as well as fully owned sales entities in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Focus areas of responsibility entail Product Development & Innovation, Marketing & Branding, Sales & Distribution Management and Production Planning & out-bound Logistics

Next to leading strategic and operational sales projects his team is responsible to create the processes, organisational architecture and systems to ensure transparency and to secure the sales growth outlook and forecast.

  • CEO/President KWC Group at Franke

    Franke Group is global group with 2 billion CHF sales primarily active in the kitchen market. As CEO/President of KWC Group responsible for KWC, Mamoli and Nokite with production sites in Switzerland, Italy and China, respectively, with ~130 million CHF sales and ~600 employees. Full value chain for bath and kitchen faucet solutions under own brands as well as OEM for leading brands and retail chains, e.g. Duravit, Lowes, Ace Hardware, CRH. KWC Group is the OEM partner for all faucet solutions for Duravit with a close cooperation in product development & innovation, due to a 25% stake in Duravit.
