- Rotating and Static Mechanical engineering support to plant team. - Manage various CAPEX projects.
Our plant is the first commercial-scale Gas to Liquids plant in the western hemisphere and the first dedicated small-scale GTL plant in the world. Responsibilities Include : - Team Lead for Static and Rotating Maintenance Teams. - Overall SME and Owner of all Rotating and Static Equipment on our Facility. Examples are: 1. Centrifugal and Reciprocating Gas Compressors, Auxiliary Systems including Lube oil and Dry Gas Seals. 2. API 610 Centrifugal Pumps and API Mechanical Seal Plans etc 3. Heat Exchangers including Shell and Tube, Air Coolers 4. API 510 Pressure Vessels including Steam Drums, Boilers, API 653 Tanks etc - Responsible for all Mechancial related changes (MOCs) to all mechanical equipment. These changes are governed by the MOC process and are guided by ASME and API guidelines. - Provide Engineering recommendations and support during TARs and Outages.
NiQuan GTL TAR, Commissioning and StartUp Project - Responsible for closing off open activities on Level 5 P6 Schedule - Responsible for providing project progress updates and overall monitoring of subcontractor scope of works ensuring engineering specifications are met and schedule is maintained. - Support engineering team with technical reviews of various management of change initiatives (both Mechanical and E&I) to upgrade overall plant process safety and overall plant throughput. - Responsible for in-field execution of MoC’s, both Mechanical and E&I related; Piping Modifications, PSV Upgrades, Pressure Vessel Modifications and Evaluations, Compressor and Pump Operability and Reliability etc. This includes work pack development, Isometric and BOM review and approvals, P&ID Red Line Updates etc. - Support operations and commissioning team in plant startup activities.
DeNovo Zandolie Gas Project (September 2021-January 2022) The Zandolie Well Head Platform is a single-well, conductor supported platform that receives gas and ties into an existing 14" 1500# Manifold Header on the Iguana Platform 17km away. It is the first offshore platform in Trinidad to be 100% powered by solar and wind energy. - Involved in the Brownfield modifications of the existing Iguana Platform and also the Construction, Installation, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning (Greenfield) activities on the Zandolie Platform. BHP Ruby Project (April 2020- September 2021) The Ruby platform is a 6-Well Head Protector Platform that receives and transports oil and gas to the Existing CPP and GEP facilities located approximately 5km away. Once in full production mode, Ruby will add 80mscf of gas and 16,000 bopd to BHP's production stream. - I provided project execution support for Brownfield and Greenfield activities within the construction scope of works and commissioning of BHP's Central Processing & Gas Export Platform (Brownfield) as well as the new BHP Ruby Well Head Protector Platform Installation and Commissioning (Greenfield).
Atlantic LNG Asset Verification/CMMS Upgrade Project (February - November 2019) - Conducted field inspection on all electrical, mechanical and instrumentation assets ensuring there is coherency with P&IDs and as-built design on all process systems, on all 4 Trains, Jetties and Shared Facilities. - Involved in generating MOC's to reflect any changes made to P&IDs and any upgrades to the MAXIMO database. - Used HAZOP studies, shutdown narratives and complex loop diagrams to ensure all assets are correctly classified as Safety Critical Equipment as per Process Safety standards and guidelines. - Verified that all mechanical and instrumentation assets on all 28 GE MS5002 Gas Turbines and all 50 Centrifugal Compressors are correctly classified and uploaded into MAXIMO including lube oil, fuel gas, seal gas, fire protection, inlet and exhaust systems. Sandals MEP Project (September 2018 - February 2019) - Developed cost estimation and project proposal to Sandals International for HVAC and Plumbing Package. Atlantic LNG HAC Project (May 2018 - September 2018) - Inspected all Electrical and Instrumentation assets ensuring they met Atlantic's HAC guidelines in accordance to IEC and NEC standards.
