Over the past year and a half, I've gained valuable experience working at ODW - Elektrik as a mechanic in the cable cutting department. My primary responsibility was maintaining and repairing machines involved in cable production, including the Komax Gamma, Komax Alpha, Schafer Megomat, and Komax Kappa. Beginning as a line operator, I steadily progressed through the ranks within the factory, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to my role. Throughout my time at ODW - Elektrik, I encountered various challenges but approached each one with determination and passion. I consistently strived to resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth operations within the department. My commitment to excellence and problem-solving skills allowed me to excel in my role and contribute positively to the team's success. Recently, I transitioned to a new opportunity at Alexander Buerkle, where I continue to bring the same level of dedication and enthusiasm to my work. I am eager to apply my skills and experience in this new environment, embracing challenges and opportunities for growth.
As a Mechanic in the cable cutting department at Alexander Buerkle, I play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery involved in cable production. My responsibilities encompass both maintenance and repair tasks, aimed at optimizing machine performance and minimizing downtime. On a daily basis, I meticulously inspect and troubleshoot various machines integral to the production process, including cable cutting equipment and associated systems. By conducting regular maintenance checks and promptly addressing any issues that arise, I strive to uphold operational efficiency and productivity within the department. In addition to my mechanical duties, I am also entrusted with the important task of accounting for all scrap generated during both line and machine operations. Through my meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach to maintenance and scrap management, I contribute to the seamless functioning of the cable cutting department at Alexander Buerkle.
