I'm an accounting professional with over 7 years experience focusing mainly on Procure-to-Pay, but I'm also experienced in Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report. I've held leadership roles for almost 5 years, during which I managed 6 different teams with sizes ranging anywhere between 5 to 25 people. I'm ambitious, capable and always in pursuit of personal development. Finally, my goal is to reach as far as I can in the field of Finance and Accounting and to leave a positive mark on the world.
I'm currently responsible for all Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables processes of 12 SGRE companies in Europe and the Middle East. I'm leading a team of 8 accountants and I'm also responsible for another 15 outsourced accounting operators. During my tenure, I set new quality standards, achieved operational stability and greatly improved the quality of our books, despite difficulties brought by migrations into S4 Hana as well as several company mergers.
I was responsible for all Accounts Payables activities, for 5 SGRE entities across Europe and the Middle East. I was also charged with ensuring the quality of services provided by teams of outsourced accounting operators, and to act as expert support for them, as well as for Business and PROC partners. Finally, I was also tasked with leading and guiding fellow HUB AP colleagues. During this time I had successfully designed and implemented our MTO process, migrated several new entities into S4 Hana, and reduced our overall AP backlog by over 75%
I led a team of 5 P2P End-to-End Experts tasked with supporting the businesses of typically large to very large revenue, within 21 countries with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts, and provide expert advice within a core Financial Reporting and Accounting process / area / technology. During this time I successfully implemented several training programs and insourced key processes, which in turn brought significant improvements to lead time, quality and backlog.
I managed a team of 20 members which is ultimately responsible for Purchase to Pay accounting services of Accounts Payable and Payment Pun for 15 Siemens companies across Europe and the Middle East. During this time I have brough significant FTE savings, and increased efficiency through automation initiatives, digitalization projects and people development.
I was responsible for 2 teams under Financial Shared Services, totaling 25 people, and for all Accounting Processes including Accounts Payables, Payment Run, Accounts Receivables, Cash & Bank and General Ledger of 7 Siemens companies located in Turkey. During this time I brought much needed stability to the team, brought extensive improvements in both MTO and closing processes and piloted new AP automations and smart closing tools.
Within Financial Shared Services, I was responsible for Accounts Payable and Payment Run for all 7 companies of Siemens in Turkey and managing a team of 15 people. The team was going through a critical phase before I joined, and I managed to stabilize it, and our processes, by focusing on cooperation, quality, knowledge preservation, increasing motivation, and implementation of rigorous controls.
