Now retired, I have been an ambitious and dedicated IT and HR professional at ABB, a global pioneering technology leader in industrial digitalization, very experienced and still passionate about developing and improving solutions that bring people, processes and systems together. I like to cope with today’s complexity by finding innovative ways to excellent user experience while meeting the business requirements. Here “excellent” translates to intuitive, efficient, flexible; in short: like Google. I have been able to achieve this as a project manager and as a line manager in Switzerland, U.K. and China. – Fun fact: where others hit the limits of their MS Excel virtuosity with formulas and pivot tables for me the fun just starts by linking it to an SQL server!
