Marketing, communication and change management, that's what I have been living for 25 years with growing enthusiasm. As long-standing agency head, then as Managing Director Marketing International in the Schwarz Group for Kaufland and now as Group Director Marketing for the Vaillant Group. As head of the agency (Scholz & Friends, red cell, both WPP Group) I was the powerful reinforcement of the marketing management of my well-known customers. - Analyze, conceptualize, create. Developing ideas that bring strong competitive and sales advantages. Both for the marketing management and the management of my long-standing clients. - Industries with many years of expertise: automotive, FMCG, food retail (LEH), trade, HVAC, SHK, energy, telecommunications, airline, tourism, beauty, logistics, pharmaceuticals... - However, this also applies internally as managing director of the agency. Here I have initiated decisive changes in structures (e.g. the founding of the digital unit with social media at the Düsseldorf location from 2008) and have won and retained many well-known clients, some of them in pitch for the agency. Scholz&Friends still benefits greatly from this today. Since 2015 I have been working from the "client side". At Kaufland I was able to develop the DNA and the positioning of the Kaufland brand together with the team and the Board of Management and roll it out in more than 1,300 markets worldwide. New CI, new retail design, new campaigns, new digital strategy, new private labels. "Once everything" for one of the largest retail groups in the world. After almost 5 years back home, something new, but at the same time something familiar:. As Marketing Director of my former customer Vaillant, I now move in the exciting field of renewable energies and the environment. Not only against the background of the climate debate, our efficient solutions for hot water, space heating and cooling are becoming increasingly relevant. Together with 16,000 employees, 8 Group brands and more than 30 million customers, we can achieve a lot worldwide. Inspiring and convincing in all countries is also part of my daily mission at Vaillant, true to our vision "Taking care of a better climate".
