As the Head of the Department for Threat Intelligence & Infrastructure at G DATA CyberDefense AG, I lead a dedicated team of over 60 engineers. Our mission is to construct robust cloud security services that effectively detect and mitigate malware and other digital threats. We are committed to enhancing infrastructure and cloud security services, contributing to open source projects, and conducting research to foster a safer digital environment. Previously, I served as an Associate Professor for IT-Security at the Technical University of Dortmund, one of the largest Computer Science universities. My commitment to education was recognized in 2019 when I was awarded the prize for the best Computer Science lecture. Currently, I continue to educate future IT professionals as an IT-Security lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Bochum. In addition to my academic and professional roles, I am a frequent speaker at conferences, an author of open-source projects, and a blogger.
