I am Professor (Chair) of Complex Soft Matter at the Technical University of Munich, currently based in Singapore, where I serve as the Scientific Co-Director of the Proteins4Singapore project at TUMCREATE. Additionally, I hold a Professorship in Adaptive & Responsive Nanomaterials at UCL’s Department of Chemical Engineering. My research focuses on bio-nano interfaces, nanoscale material interactions, and molecular self-assembly processes that drive structure formation, with applications across the food, healthcare, and environmental domains.
