The first years of my career were useful to get to know the operations, the equipment and the projects. This knowledge was indispensable to become a good production engineer. Now I have to visualize, organize and calculate new projects and come up with the best solution for the clients. Afterwards I am responsible for the follow-up of those projects and always prepared to assist on the site. __________________________________________________________________________________ Next to the job and being a father of two, I spend my time running (three times a week 5-10km) and organising two annual events (barbeque in the summer and family hike in the winter) for our local friends-community
Managing the JDN Academy, where not only new recruits but also other employees receive further training. Experience and knowledge play a crucial role in our employees' training trajectory. Learning from one's own successes and mistakes in practice takes a lot of time. Accelerating that process is achieved by also learning from the successes and mistakes of others in an experience-oriented manner. Responsible for four focus points: 1. Activating reflection and lessons learned to gather experiential knowledge. 2. Translating experiential knowledge into all simulators and training modules, ensuring they remain continuously up-to-date and can simulate relevant learning moments. 3. Encouraging the use of the simulators by organizing maximum broad applicability. 4. Accelerating innovation by testing the feasibility of tender concepts and, in turn, providing post-production lessons learned as a starting point for new concepts.
