Proviron's mission is to provide chemical solutions for tomorrow's challenges. As a global diversified chemical company, we do a lot of things: - we help airports and airlines with deicing solutions: Provifrost®, - we invent stabilizers for water based emulsion polymerization technology: Provichem®, - we develop ingredients that reduce or replace antibiotics in animal feed, - we produce non-phthalate and even bio-based plasticizers: Proviplast®, - we have stepped into the heat transfer fluid business: Proviflow®, - we invest in the production of micro-algae with promising characteristics - and last but not least: please think of us for your outsourcing needs I am responsible for the overall margin of the Proviron Group: I have the final responsibility for all sales, procurement of raw materials and the supply chain at Proviron. I developed and implemented the group strategy and the international growth for most of Proviron´s business units (e.g. plasticizers, functional chemicals, deicing chemicals and toll manufacturing). We set up Proviron´s subsidiary in China (Pu Wei Lun) and dramatically increased our sales in the Americas. The product portfolio was reshuffled, new products were launched and trade names were established: Proviplast, Provichem, Provifrost and Proviflow.
I was responsible for different projects within the Plastics Converting Group. I was coordinating the R&D group efforts, group investments, inter-company agreements and the global procurement strategy (mainly PVC, 200 million € per annum).
I was responsible for the daily operations of a cost centre consisting of 4 chemical production units, with 100 people and a 30 million € annual budget.
I was responsible for the management of a chemical plant with 40 people and turnover of 7 million € (most toll manufacturing related).
Crisis management of a near bankrupt chemical plant, 8 people, turnover of $ 1 million. We succeeded in the successful turnaround.
