Project 4 - Animal Shelter Management Application Built a full stack application that allows users to search adoptable pets and apply to adopt or volunteer. Approved volunteers receive temporary log in credentials and instructions to register with the site where they have access to a searchable volunteer directory and the ability to add to or edit the adoptable pet list, including uploading images. Logged in administrators can approve pending volunteer and adoption applications and promote volunteers. Tools utilized include Java, Vue.js, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, DAO Pattern, Rest, Gmail API, Cloudinary, and Postman. Project 3 - Money Sharing Application Designed an application utilizing PostgreSQL, Postman, Applied Spring Framework(MVC), RESTful API, and JDBC allowing users to create and log into an account, send and request money transfers, and search other registered users while updating and storing transfer history and account information in a corresponding database. Employed DAO pattern to model data and wrote integration tests to verify performance. Project 2 - Wine Tasting Application Developed a command line program and accompanying database utilizing OOP, Java, JDBC, and PostgreSQL, which takes users through the steps of the Deductive Tasting Method and returns a list of possible wines based on user input. Project 1 - Vending Machine Application Created a command line vending machine program utilizing OOP Principles, Java, file I/O, and J-Unit testing to ensure functionality. The software was able to keep inventory, provide change, keep an input log, and accept user input.
