As the Program Manager for the AZ Stitch Lab, Tucson Arizona, I played a pivotal role in the launch of the country's first industrial sewing workforce development program designed to address the employment gap in the needle trades industry in Southern Arizona. In my role, I recruited and vetted applicants, collaborated on curriculum development, led community outreach efforts and partnered with Tucson's city, county, tribal governments and employers on workforce development initiatives. Additional responsibilities included public relations, event management, fundraising, grant reporting, content development and website maintenance.
