Currently teaching in Harvard's Summer Program on Innovating with GAI for Leaders and Managers. From 2014 - 2025, the John L. Weinberg/Goldman Sachs & Co. Visiting Professor at Princeton University. Some prior holders of this professorship include: Jon Corzine (former governor of New Jersey and U.S. senator), Hugh B. Price (former president and chief executive officer of the National Urban League), Joshua Bolten (former White House Chief of Staff) and Anthony Shorris (previously the First Deputy Mayor of NYC). This professorship supports bringing distinguished visitors in the areas of economics and public policy to the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. Strauss is a civic and private sector leader who has worked on management/innovation in the public and private sectors. He has been quoted, cited and/or interviewed by: Fareed Zakaria, CNBC, CBS and other major media. He has contributed OpEds at the LATimes, Salon, The Huffington Post, Project-Syndicate and as well as other media organizations Geographically he has worked on projects in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia on topics such as: Economic Development, Software, the Sharing/Gig economy, Technology Startups and Entrepreneurship, Financial Services Reform, Health Systems Reform, Higher Education Reform, and Investment/Risk Management (including work for one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds).
