Analytical chemist with over 16 years of progressive experience spanning the pharmaceutical industry and academic research. Currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Morgridge Institute for Research in the laboratory of Dr. Joshua J. Coon, focusing on advanced mass spectrometry–based characterization of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies and MS-based shotgun proteomics. Earned both Masters and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Brigham Young University under the mentorship of Dr. David V. Dearden. Experienced in ion mobility–mass spectrometry (IMS-MS), high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS), and tandem MS, with a strong background in analytical method development, impurity profiling, structural elucidation, and gas-phase ion chemistry within small-molecule pharmaceutical research and development. Author of multiple first-author publications in leading mass spectrometry journals and recipient of several honors, including the American Society for Mass Spectrometry Graduate Student Award, Milton Lee Graduate Fellowship, Garth L. Lee Outstanding Graduate Student Award, and ASMS Travel Award for Asilomar conference. Passionate about applying analytical science to solve complex chemical and biological problems through innovative mass spectrometry approaches.
