Simón is the CEO and Founder of SUI Connections, a sourcing and international trade consultancy that connects companies with trusted manufacturers and suppliers across China, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Europe. He initially began his career in sustainability and ESG consulting, supporting clients in the retail and real estate sectors on ESG strategy, climate risk, decarbonization, and operational performance, working with frameworks such as GRESB, LEED, WELL, BREEAM, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and GHG Accounting. Through this consulting work, Simón identified that many strategic, financial, and ESG-related risks originate upstream in the supply chain, particularly in sourcing, supplier transparency, and production execution. After living and working in China for over eight years, engaging directly with manufacturers and production teams, he shifted his focus from advisory to execution. This insight led him to found SUI Connections, where he applies a consulting-driven, risk-based approach to international sourcing and trade. His work focuses on helping companies source reliably, optimize costs, reduce operational and compliance risks, and execute cross-border trade with clarity and control.
