  • Leader of AKAI Apps project at AKAI - Academic Web Application Research Group
    Mar 2023 - May 2024 · 1 yr 3 mos

AKAI Apps serves as the online portfolio for the AKAI Research Group. I led the revival of this project to promote the research group's visibility. The previous AKAI Apps website had multiple problems. Role and Contributions: - Team Leadership: Assembled and managed the project team. Represented the project. - Design & Preparations: Undertook the role of project manager and designer, creating the entire app layout using Figma due to a lack of volunteers for this role. Initiated the repository, while coding was managed by my teammates. - Technical Advisory: Provided guidance on all technical decisions throughout the project. Current Status: The application is fully developed using Astro, a modern web framework. It is live but currently not fully responsive or translated into English, since it is still WIP. You can view it here: https://apps.akai.org.pl/.
