Sreeja is a curious and enthusiastic tech professional with a passion for learning and growing in the fields of technology and management. She holds a B.Tech (Honours) degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a CGPA of 9.18. She started her journey at Intel as an intern in the PESG team and is currently working as an Information Security Engineer in the Cyber Security domain at Intel, Bengaluru. She is skilled in Java, Python, SQL, and database management, and values clear communication and collaboration. Lately, she has been diving deep into the world of Artificial Intelligence, with special interest in Generative AI, LLMs, RAGs, prompt engineering, and LangChain. -Worked on consolidation and categorization of campaign queries for efficient Vulnerability Management. Standardized notification templates and reduced the number of templates from 45 to 6 (around 87% reduction) for campaigns. -Ramped up on campaign processes and initiated campaigns to educate users about vulnerabilities in their assets, fostering proactive remediation actions for enhanced security posture. -Part of Intel Technical Leadership Program – learnt about the agile processes, technical product management and advancement. -Worked on an Application Security portal to initiate SAST and DAST scans, configure settings, and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring robust application security management and mitigation. Implemented automations for various AppSec processes to increase efficiency. -Improved the Notification Engine of an Application Security platform by adding new functionalities, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance for enhanced security alerting and management.
-Studied diverse cloud providers and developed automated code to restrict network access for vulnerable cloud resources, bolstering security and compliance measures seamlessly. -Managed incident tickets for campaign processes and ASP maintenance, including handling requests for extensions, exclusions, exceptions, and performing tasks like triggering rescans, configuring, and debugging code for specific assets to ensure operational integrity and user satisfaction.
-Implemented table partitioning in SSMS for SQL query optimization, improving performance (reducing execution time from more than an hour to less than 5 minutes, almost 93% increase in efficiency). -Developed a Python script automating SQL query generation for comprehensive application testing, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in validation processes. -Added new features to existing codebase, rigorously testing each enhancement to ensure seamless integration and functionality improvements. -Utilized vendor tools like VManager and Verdi to develop software for pre-silicon validation, ensuring robust functionality and reliability of semiconductor designs.
