• Added bearer token handling to improve OAuth 2.0 testing scenarios in Inferno, an open-source Ruby standards conformance framework for health IT systems to test FHIR-enabled health data exchanges through RESTful API testing and data validation. • Developed a test suite using Inferno to validate patient data against the HL7 FHIR US Core Patient Profile requirements, providing users with an example implementation of tests for a common use case.
• Guided four healthcare organizations including a leading academic and research organization and a cancer specialty center on optimal use of electronic health record software to meet their unique organizational needs and improve financial performance. • Created MSSQL database of client software settings and metrics to enable internal cross-customer data analysis. Impact includes informing development decisions, assessing standard configuration recommendations, and identifying regional client trends. • Designed MSSQL-based internal visualization dashboard to facilitate timely impact review of reported software bugs, minimizing potential impact on client revenue, patient safety, and customer satisfaction. • Developed client-facing Excel & SQL tool to prioritize outstanding accounts receivable for billing staff review and follow-up. • Optimized software through programming and deploying functionality, used across entire customer base.
