Led MNI, a macro-economic data, news, and events business serving traders, economists and strategist in fixed income and FX markets across North America, Europe, and AsiaPacific. Spearheaded the sale of MNI, previously a subsidiary of Deutsche Boerse Group, to Hale Global in July 2016. Assisted with transition and restructuring under new ownership.
Led internal start-up delivering new content, data, and web-based analytical for transactional attorneys (e.g. M&A, Securities, Real Estate, Contracts, etc). Responsible for all aspects of P&L and product, marketing and sales functions. Developed initial strategy, secured investment, developed customer-driven product vision, built team, and led ongoing execution. Hired and managed team that grew from 2 to 75+ FTEs and from 0 to 10 products within 3 years. Integrated SEC data business, Knowledge Mosaic (now Securities Mosaic), doubling revenues and improving product ratings.
Accountable for business strategy, high level requirements, and program office for complete technical platform modernization (across data, product, and business systems). Worked with stakeholders across business and engineering in all regions. Project encompassed $300M initial investment and 250+ FTEs.
