Simmesport, Louisiana, United States
I am a young and aspiring person with multiple years of experience in Law Enforcement. I love my choices in my previous careers as my father was a long time police officer and was very well loved and respected in the community, which inspired me to do the same. I work hard everyday in everything I do because I am competitive, but a team player. I want to be the better than the person next to me, not to gloat, but because if you strive to be great, then you might inspire the next person to do the same. I feel my passion along side law enforcement is Information Technology. I entered the U. S. Army in 2009 to become an IT Specialist. I successfully served in the Louisiana Army National Guard before leaving early to attend to my children. I love the IT field and which has allowed me to broaden my horizons within the digital world. I also have extensive experience and training in real estate with a focus in appraisals. I served as an in-house residential appraiser for the Union Bank for two years which helped with loans both big and small. Currently I work as the Political Action Committee Coordinator for the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe in Marksville, La. I handle day to day operations and fundraising for the PAC but also assist with governmental affairs. I've had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with various members of congress on behalf of Indian Country. Regardless of my career path that I take, expect that I work hard and strive to be the best.
