    Primarily hiring engineers that work on Atlas Cloud, our DBaaS that generates 75% of our $2.5bn in annual revenue. I hire for the engineering teams in the US and EMEA. Had a three year stint as a Lead Tech Recruiter (ppl mgr) but switched back to an IC Feb 2026. Lead role was half recruiting manager, half individual contributor. I directly managed a team of US based tech recruiters (ranging from 2- 5 ppl) while also carrying half the req load of an IC recruiter. For the IC side of things, have focused a lot on building out our SRE team, but also have plenty of experience with SWE and Security folks.

    Human is a 140 person InfoSec (or Cyber Security if that's your preferred nomenclature) startup fighting automated bot fraud - hackers using malware to imitate humans online on a massive scale - processing over one trillion events per week. My primary focus at Human, an NYC-headquartered firm, was to build out their London engineering team as well as support NYC HQ hiring. During my tenure, we were able to grow the London office by over 500% to (3 to 16 people, but still....)! -Sole full-cycle recruiter for London, focused on hiring Security Researchers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers. -Other responsibilities: as only non technical person in the office, served as de facto office manager and realtor. Responsible for ensuring the office was supplied with food and IT equipment, planned events (happy hours and the like), and also successfully spearheaded the search for new office space (harder than it sounds).
