I am an enterprise leader, currently heading Data & Analytics in Clinical Operations at Novartis, with a focus on strengthening decision quality at scale by integrating data, AI, and human judgment, while building high-performing, future-ready teams. With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of science, technology, and business, I design and lead enterprise programs in business insights, digital transformation and AI, translating advanced analytics into decisions people trust. Across research, clinical development and operations, I have led the delivery and scaling of AI-driven capabilities that support critical trial decisions, including AI-driven site selection, protocol feasibility and optimized design, trial and site benchmarking, AI multi agents systems to reduce site and patient burden, performance prediction, and intelligent summarization of clinical documents. These capabilities have materially improved decision speed, consistency, optimised resources and improved operational risk management across therapeutic portfolios. As the Head of Health Data Insights and Design, my passion is to utilize the power of predictive analytics to improve patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, and propel Novartis forward. I am privileged to lead a diverse global team of 50 data scientists, quantitative analysts and technologists who specialize in providing crucial insights for global clinical development and operations. Our repertoire includes analytical assessment of operational complexity, competitive benchmarking, patient-matching using real-world data, patient phenotyping and subpopulation DEI analyses via diverse biobanks and registries and feasibility and site selection powered by cutting-edge data science. We also offer detailed insights into RTL and CAR-T in close coordination with commercial and medical departments. Through our innovative methods, we have accelerated patient recruitment, reduced trial lifecycle times, and most importantly, assisted in identifying eligible patients who can benefit immensely from participating in Novartis trials.
As a Data&Analytics leader in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Group at Roche, I drive initiatives that empower drug discovery and development through data and predictive modeling. My leadership focuses on developing and coaching high-performing teams, designing and executing our AI strategy, democratizing the use of Real World Data, and contributing to Lean drug development initiatives. Additionally, I work on evolving our Reverse Translation process, reimagining collaboration models with partners such as CROs and academia, and contributing to Protocol digitalization initiatives. These efforts are central to advancing our understanding of molecules, diseases, and clinical responses.
As a strategic group leader in early-stage drug development, I provide vision and direction for the integration of advanced analytics across the organization. I am dedicated to developing and evolving a high-performing global team, including portfolio managers, scrum masters, data scientists, and BI experts, to drive innovation and operational excellence. I spearhead enterprise-wide initiatives such as protocol digitization and digitalization, and lead the Predictive Site Selection initiative to improve study efficiency and accuracy. My role involves guiding in-depth strategic analyses of key programs, delivering critical insights for senior management decision-making.
